  Snuff Jazz Mark Southerland's Free-jazz trio, with Jeff Harshbarger and Josh Adams. These Kansas City legends are flying in for the occasion. They've played Tonic, the Blue Note, the Knitting Factory, Preservation Hall (New Orleans). Tonight,they offer a more conceptual, layered collaboration.

Dirty Force Brass Knuckle Street Band and Soul Revue
This deconstructivist mardis-gras brass band are also here in NYC for just this one night. Tomorrow, they're off to the American Jazz Museum to play with Rebirth Brass Band from New Orleans. Recent performances include Historic Mutual Musicians Foundation, covered last week on NPR playing Charlie
Parker's graveside memorial.

Fat Sal - World DJ - This underground specialist will spin his collection of
rare vinyl dub, cuban and soul.
